We want to build the best team in the grease business - people with a deeply personal reason to care about doing difficult work exceptionally well. Our Core Target is to help 250 Yes Chef families onto the property ladder by 2036.

Great people do better work when the work matters to them
Commercial kitchen cleaning isn't glamorous. It's grease, awkward spaces, unsociable hours and details most people will never see. That makes the person doing the work incredibly important.
We want Yes Chef people to have more riding on doing that work properly than simply getting through a shift. As we grow, our ambition is to build a 50:50 house-deposit match scheme that helps our people turn years of great work into something deeply personal: a family home of their own.
For our customers and partners, the connection is deliberate. We aim to attract good people, give them a reason to stay, and give them a reason to care. Better people, more invested in the work, should mean better standards, better accountability and better outcomes for the kitchens that trust us.

We can't solve the housing problem for the whole of the UK. But we can build a company where someone can join us, learn a trade, take pride in difficult work, progress, save - and have Yes Chef help turn that effort into a deposit on a home.
The better Yes Chef performs for its customers, the more opportunity we can create for our people. And the more our people have to build for, the stronger we believe Yes Chef becomes for its customers. That's the flywheel we're building.
BEYOND OUR OWN TEAM
Our commitment beyond Yes Chef
We've also committed 10% of annual shareholder distributable profits to Only A Pavement Away, helping people facing homelessness build careers in hospitality.
It's intended to be a long-term commitment. As Yes Chef grows, we want the opportunity we create to extend beyond our own team.
